The Archive of the Ukrainian Free University as a Source for Educational Biography Research of the Ukrainian Diaspora

Abstract

The aim of the study is to analyse the potential of the UFU archive for reconstructing the educational biographies of lecturers, organisers, and educators of the Ukrainian diaspora, as well as to outline the possibilities and limitations of using archival sources of this type. Special attention is paid to personal fonds containing biographical materials, manuscripts, publications, documents from academic everyday life, civic activities, and correspondence, which make it possible to trace educational trajectories, pedagogical ideas, and professional identities under conditions of exile.
