Teaching foreign language communication of pre-service teachers by means of case technology

Abstract

The article is devoted to the actual problem of formation and development of foreign professional communicative competence based on the "Case Study" technology among students of pedagogical specialties. Many scientists-methodologists rightly pay attention to the effectiveness of using this technology for teaching foreign languages. This is justified by the fact that case technology provides active educational strategies and professionally directed training of foreign language communication. The relevance of the implementation of the case-method to the educational process in a foreign language at higher educational institutions is due to the need to ensure its professionalization. In the article the advantages of using this technology in classes in a foreign language for teaching pre-service teachers are identified, as well as the requirements for cases, the principles of their use are clarified, a model for organizing classes is developed.
